INL is seeking for a highly-qualified, self-motivated researcher to participate in the activities related to the R&D of MEMS and microfabricated sensors to be incorporated in an industrial manufacturing production line. These devices aim to monitor several parameters and provide data for process monitoring and quality inspection. The candidate will be integrated in a multidisciplinary team with a broadband experience in sensors, microfabrication and electronic prototyping. The candidate will be working on the development of sensors, both MEMS and flexible substrate-based, including activities that range from modelling, design and fabrication, to the device laboratorial characterization.

Experience and Technical Skills
Note: Candidates should not have a labour contract with INL during the 12 months before the application.
Excellent communication skills in English are required since it’s the working language of INL.
The work plan will be developed at the INL under the scientific guidance of Dr. Rosana Dias / Dr. Lorenzo Pastrana.
Duration of the contract
The total duration of the employment contract shall be 27 months. The expected starting date is February 2021.
